Today's speaker was Rosemary Menard of the Santa Cruz Water Department. Part of her comments were on the current issue of modifying Santa Cruz City's water rights in connection with the San Lorenzo Valley.

February 13 is the San Lorenzo Valley Rotary Speech Contest at SLVHS in the multi-purpose room at 8:15am.
March 6 will be the Area 7 Speech Contest(for San Lorenzo Valley,Scotts Valley,Santa Cruz,Santa Cruz Sunrise,Freedom,Watsonville,andCapitola-Aptos Rotary Clubs) at the Performing Arts Center at SLVHS at 3:30pm.
Thursday February 28 is our “alternate” meeting at Scopazzi ‘s 6pm.
Area 10 Talent show at Green Hills on February 2-(7-9pm),tickets at door.
March 6-at our regular meeting,Carol Childers from Meals on Wheels will come to discuss the following week’s Meals on Wheels project.
