We celebrated Club Founder Gil Gunn's 100th birthday with a party with his friends, family and SLV Rotary Club on Tuesday, 9/24 at Mount Hermon.  Julie Haff contributed a lot of photographs and you can see them in the Photo Album on the Club Pages link.  I'm cribbing from the photo caption in the Sentinel (credit Dan Coyro): Gil Gunn with his wife Marge at his side, celebrates his 100th birthday surrounded by family, friends and fellow Rotary members.  Granddaughter Tasma traveled from Amsterdam, sons Greg and Gary and daughter Katy also traveled to be here. Gil is a charter member of the SLV Rotary Club and mayor of Sunnyvale in the 70's.  Ron Sekkel (also a founder of SLV Rotary) presided at the ceremony with Joe Griffin announcing that the club will dedicate the footbridge over Bull Creek at the new Felton Library in honor of Gil as the "Gil Gunn Bridge to Nature".
