
The High Council Foundation is a non-profit established in February 2020 to enrich our community through collaboration and collective acts of kindness. The group is headed by Dawn Roh and they are currently organizing the construction and outfitting of the Community Tool Shed in Boulder Creek. It is a lending resource of new tools and quality used tools available free of charge to local families rebuilding their homes and lives following the devastating CZU Complex Fire. Over 70 local businesses and organization and working together on this. Construction began April 9, 2021 at the Boulder Creek Recreation Center and Pool on Bear Creek Road. The Rotary Club of San Lorenzo Valley together with the Rotary Club of San Jose and Rotary District 5170 teamed up to make a donation of $10,000 to the Foundation. San Jose Rotary President Fernando Zazueta and member Elizabeth Manley joined our president and other members in presenting the check to Dawn Roh on Saturday June 19.
