Rotary Club of the San Lorenzo Valley Weekly Meeting

SLV School District Offices
8:00AM Pot Luck Breakfast, members of the club mingled with the new teachers for the 2014/2015 school year and the new Superintendent and the principals of the schools
8:15AM Ken called the meeting to order, attendance today 13 members, Carol led the Pledge of Allegiance, Ken welcomed all present especially the 9 new teachers. We had 33 total attendees today. Ken introduced Laurie Bruton, Superintendent of SLV Schools and in turn she brought up each principle with new teachers to introduce them and give them each their Palace Art Supply gift certificates.
8:45AM Announcements and Business:
- Ken announced that Laurie Bruton is becoming the next new SLV Rotarian!
- Ken talked briefly about the Rotary Presidents Project of school supplies to be donated, we’ll purchase a quantity of 8”x12” white boards for the elementary schools.
- Mike closed the meeting with one more announcement about the Rotary Day at the A’s and Laurie bought 2 tickets!
9:00AM Ken Adjourned the meeting. We took photos of the group of new teachers and they left for more orientation.
