- The Club recognized Don as Rotarian of the month for his consistent support of the RYLA program over the years, Thank You Don.
- Next week will be Club Assembly
- The Redwood Mountain Faire was a huge success, the Club received high praise for the Internal Traffic Control and we’ll be there next year.
- Karen stepped in for Ken in presenting the Rotary scholarships at the SLV High Awards night. The scholarships went to Caitlin Egelston, Hannah Kersten and Connor Lydon.

- Karen presided over a happy bucks session that netted a nice amount for the club.
7:55am Speaker Dr Thomas Schmitz, Warriors team doctor, sports medicine
- Thomas Schmitz of Oakland Rotary #3 was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin; he is a past-president of that club. He has been on numerous trips for Rotary including Honduras, India, Nicaragua, Ethiopia. He has worked as a team doctor for community colleges all around the Bay area, and the Warriors (Al Attles era) and Earthquakes. Thomas related lots of his reminiscences from over the years of his work with sports teams and his travels overseas for Rotary.
