  • The new Rotary wheel for the Welcome to Felton sign is now in the hands of the Eagle Scout to complete his project.  Ken is working with Jora to see if we can mount our old, larger wheel along the frontage of his Mountain Feed business in Ben Lomond.
  • The Board approved moving to a quarterly billing for pre-payment of meal expense beginning in July.  Any individual issues or hardships will be worked out and missed meals will be credited forward into the next quarter with a make-up meeting by the member.
  • During Mike’s term the club will plan a planning session, trying this without the district visioning consultant.
  • Coins for Nepal.  Julie is leading the Coins for Nepal fundraiser  in conjunction with the schools and Rotary District in Nepal.  The motion to support was adopted unanimously.  It includes publicity via e-mail, the SLV Rotary Web, sandwich board display for school open houses, an event at the Haff residence, visibility at the parades upcoming.  We decided on donations directly through Rotary here and in Nepal rather than Shelterbox.
  • Ken signed the contract for the club to be a Grant Group for the Redwood Mountain Faire and there are still some slots left to fill, please let me know if you can take some more.
  • Rotary U.  We would like more club members to attend this and I adjourned the meeting before making this announcementL.  We should let Brittany know of our attendance by Friday.  Please contact Ken or Mike.

8:25am
  • Raffle, Closing Announcements, Adjourn.  Ron pulled the winning ticket and it was Don!  Don has won in the past and as usual he made a generous donation to RYLA from the winning – he kept a couple dollars (for lunch I think).
