- Guest Introductions Carol introduced Ralph Miljanich, our speaker Michael Loik and visitor from Rotary Davis Sunrise; I am remiss in not getting name.
7:35am Announcements & Club Business
- Recognition
- February perfect attendance: Janet, Linda, Joe, Gil, Julie, Mary, Mike, Charlie, Steve, Karen, Ken
- Rotarians of the Month: Joe Griffin, Linda Fawcett; tireless supporters of the club locally and at large. Plus they make possible a 3rd Rotary Scholarship. It will be named after them.
- Mike was recognized with a special certificate from District Governor Ed Jellen for the $1,000 donation he made to Rotary Foundation this year.
- RYLA Delegates, Mike announced the delegates, Harrison Melchor, Asia Stouts and Madeleine Peterson.
- Rotary Night at the Warriors event, Thomas announced the deadline to reserve tickets is this coming Friday; and he needs payment by the next meeting 3/11. This club will receive $5 per ticket.
- Carol will be distributing the 4th graders’ dictionaries today at SLE.

- Today’s speaker was Michael Loik, UCSC Associate Professor of Environmental Studies. The topic was Climate Change Scenarios and impacts for the San Lorenzo Valley.

- Steve Lanctot won the raffle money and donated it to the Rotary Foundation, putting the club over 100% of both our dollar goal and member participation goal!
