7:55am            Program – SLV High Teacher David Grant
Teacher David Grant updated the group today on his areas at SLV High.  The areas are the critical subjects of math, science and engineering.  A good example of his combining these areas for his students is the trebuchet projects he runs.  He ensures there are plans, engineering, physics and hands-on construction themes covered.  There are also major projects involving aquaculture/aquaponics/hydroponics, raising rainbow trout and other fish.  There is a fundraiser set for this spring with smoked salmon available for donations.
