- Ken called the meeting to order, Mary led the pledge of allegiance, Joe had the thought/quote of the day.
7:35am Announcements & Club Business
- November perfect attendees were: Don, Gil, Mary, Charlie, Carol, Thomas, Janet and Mike (and me!)
- Janet was recognized as Rotarian of the Month of November for the ongoing work she is doing with the SLV High Interact Club on painting the Boulder Creek Fire Hydrants. Thanks Janet.
- Carol announced the good news that we are at 100% participation for this year’s Foundation Giving.
- Linda led the group in getting speaker/program owners for the next six months: Jan – Ken; Feb – Julie; Mar – Heather; Apr – Judy; May – Charlie; June – Karen (this is conditional since Karen was not at this meeting!
- Today we swore-in a new member, Steve Lanctot. He is proprietor of the Art Services business in Boulder Creek. He is already active with the Interact fire hydrant project. Welcome Steve.
7:40am Detective Report & Happy Bucks
- Carol raised some more funds for the club as detective with Pearl Harbor Day as the theme.
7:50am Speakers
- Joe and Linda brought photos of their recent trip into the Julian Alps area of Slovenia. They have a friend from that area who was able to make their travel arrangements and get as many hikes scheduled for Joe and Linda as they could stand!
