- Tiro Ntle project in Botswana, Ken
Today’s lunch donations are going to this project in Botswana. The Tiro Ntle women who sew are teaching others to sew and they have founded a local government program to train themselves in bookkeeping and record keeping. They are excited and positive about their future. They look to the day when they can afford to buy more salt, some sugar and school uniforms. Linda Fawcett’s friend Peggy Flynn, Peace Corp Volunteer is the connection to the group.

- Christmas Season Music – Dave Talbot
Dave led the group in singing songs of Christmas. We sang Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, O Come, All Ye Faithful, O little Town of Bethlehem and Away in a Manger. Dave is a talented pianist and a good story teller who related lots commentary on the origins of these pieces.
