Newark Rotary Club is pleased to announce that we are accepting proposals from qualified organizations for funding of programs that benefit the local community.

II. Eligibility for Funding

Funding is available to qualified institutions and nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations. Contributions are not made to individuals or for activities that promote specific religious or political viewpoints. Most grants are in the range of $300 to $1,000. Multi-year grants are not awarded.

III. Submission of Proposals

Proposals must be submitted by April 1, 2024, to the email address listed below.  Our goal is to make funding decisions made within six weeks following. Funding is provided by the Newark Rotary Club Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization formed and supported by the Rotary Club of Newark.

IV. Selection Criteria and Process

Grant proposals are reviewed by a funding committee of the Newark Rotary Club Foundation. Recommendations of the committee are forwarded to the Newark Rotary Club Foundation Board for final approval.
