Community Projects and Events

One of the ways we serve our community is by facilitating events and projects that can make a lasting impression on the residents of Morgan Hill.  These events involve not only financial resources but also the time and energy to plan and execute these events and project. Since our inception we have has donated approximately $1,000,000 in materials to community projects.

Philanthropic Giving

The other way we serve is through monetary support.   The philanthropic giving of The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill has risen to over $100,000 per year.  The club has awarded almost $120,000 in college scholarships to Morgan Hill students. We have leveraged matching donations from the Rotary International Foundation to complete humanitarian aid projects overseas worth nearly $250,000. 

An additional $250,000 has been donated by our to the Rotary International Foundation toward the global eradication of polio and other international efforts . And to bring an international view to Morgan Hill,  local Rotarians have hosted foreign exchange students from Brazil, South Africa, Russia, Spain, Puerto Rico, Ghana, Bosnia, Argentina and other countries. The efforts of the club has earned us numerous recognition including  the Rotary International Presidential Award, and Rotary District & Zone Literacy Awards.
