Supervisory Special Agent William Ng

Supervisory Special Agent William Ng plans to cover the type of cyber cases that San Francisco FBI is addressing vs what is mostly reported in the news.  He will explain what the FBI can and cannot do during the course of their investigations, how some of their actors carry out their attacks, last but not least, their experience in dealing with ransomware cases. 

Supervisory Special Agent William Ng is assigned to the FBI's San Francisco Field Office.  He supervises a cyber criminal squad in San Jose which is responsible for all criminal computer intrusion matters in the entire San Francisco Bay Area.  Supervisory Special Agent Ng recently completed his FBI Headquarters assignment where he served as an Assistant Inspector responsible for the review of all FBI investigative programs as well as management efficiency in various field offices and FBI Headquarters.
