Purpose: To review applications and determine if follow up questions from applicants are needed
Update as of Oct. 17
- The deadline for online applications was September 30
- A total of 60 applications were received - record number
- Blast emails sent out by Dave on June 2, July 31, Sept 3 and 23 to Club Members suggesting they reach out to potential applicants.
- Blast emails sent out by Jackie to 60-plus Morgan Hill area charitable organizations, including past applicants, on June 28, July 21, Aug 20 ,Sept 3 and 11.
- Links and stories about the grants are available on Club Runner, https://www.morganhillrotary.org/, and today on the online version of Morgan Hill Life.
- Dave sent applicants a copy of the grant requests on Oct 1, reminding them also to provide expense documentation if awarded in the past two years
- Dave to summarize application results and share spreadsheet and applications with the committee by Oct 10
- Next meeting Oct 16 to review applications and determine if follow up questions from applicants are needed
- Robin volunteered to communicate, if needed, with applicants that the committee decides clarification is needed
- Follow up meeting Oct 28 to evaluate and make recommendations on grants
- Grant recommendations to be submitted to the BOD for review at the Nov BOD meeting
- Marilyn volunteered to coordinate club presentation of award winners
- Post mortem meeting to be scheduled
