Program feature:
Speaking with us today are two high school students competing in our local Rotary club level Richard King Youth Speech Contest. Miguel Fregoso, a senior at Pájaro Valley High School, a member of the Watsonville Ivy League Project 2013 cohort, and Keeaira McKee, a resident at Haven of Hope and a senior at Aptos High School.
Miguel Fregoso, in a very close contest, was declared the winner. He will advance to the Area 7 competition on February 28 at the meeting of the host Santa Cruz Rotary Club.
Freedom Rotary thanks Davina Polanco, speech contest coordinator.
