President's Weekly Message
This time of year with new beginnings, new calendars, and a new cold snap, we often talk about what we would like to do differently. (While it is an arbitrary time to do it why would you change things when it is cold and snowy out--me I prefer lent, but once again I lose to popular culture so i will stop my digression here and pretend I am on board with making new year resolutions right now when the cold, ice, and lack of sunlight pretty much stop us from having the energy and motivation to change our socks much less greater life habits--ok I will stop the digression here for real). So I have to ask you what is your resolution. Are you going to make more meetings? Eat more desserts? Ask better questions? Stop editing your digressions out of your presidential e-mails (yes they are in about every third one but they get deleted for your reading pleasure). Are you going to tell more people about rotary?
Or maybe you could resolve to be with us this Thursday to hear Katie Scepaniak speak and teach us. We hope you see you there because I resolve to appreciate you more in the upcoming year, so you are appreciated!
