In 1969 there was a mechanical failure on the USS Enterprise (and aircraft carrier) and caused a fire that resulted in multiple deaths and over 100 million dollars of damage.  Tomorrow, Thursday September 8th, we will have David Huikko, a resident of Dassel, who will present a little history about the tragic fire on the USS Enterprise on January 14, 1969.
