Please join us for our October STRIVE meeting.  We have recruited a few more students - our total is up to about 13 students!

This meeting will be another informal, getting to know each other session.  We will do a few ice breaker activities and talk about things we learn when faced with different tasks.  No formal training or experience is necessary for this event - you just need to care about kids.  We are mostly working on building mutual trust, respect, and showing them that we can have some fun.

Pizza and pop will be served at 11:35.  Activities and discussion will start after a quick meal.

If you're at all curious about the level of need in our own community - just sit down and listen to some of these thoughtful students.  If you do, you'll also learn about the bright future we have in store - let's work to guide their energy in a positive, healthy direction.

Same location as always - Community room in the DC High School Performing Arts Center Lobby.
