They’re Off:  Fritz and Suzanne McDougall head out on the 5K Walk for Water at Lake Fairfax Park on Sept. 30, with Tony Rounds and Moe Levy in close pursuit.  The event benefited the District 7610 Strategic Water Alliance, which provides funds for drilling wells and constructing latrines in Zambia.  Tysons Corner had the highest number of walkers among the eight clubs in the Water Alliance.  Tysons Corner Rotarian Tim Long is a co-chair of the Alliance, and organized the Walk for Water.  Volunteers from the new Rotaract Club of Northern Virginia served as course guides.  The local Walk for Water was part of a Rotary International effort to conduct walks around the world to benefit water projects.
