Chris Jones has an extensive business background, having served numerous companies in executive
capacities including CEO, COO, and EVP. The majority of his background is in sales and marketing aligned
with a concentration in operations, at both for-profit and non-profit organizations. His ability to read a
financial report, understand quickly a company’s strengths and weaknesses, and to build relationships are
his hallmarks. His responsibilities include international as well as domestic assignments during his working
tenure. As a result, he is a well-traveled individual steeped in understanding and respecting varied
cultures.
After re-evaluating his successful career in business, and with a strong desire to align his work efforts with
his deeply held values of service, Chris joined Stop Hunger Now, a global humanitarian aid non-profit
organization providing nutritious non-perishable meals to the hungry in developing countries and disaster
areas. Chris manages Stop Hunger Now’s global relationship with Rotary International, the world’s oldest
service and humanitarian aid organization with 1.2 Million members in more than 200 countries and
geographic areas. In this business development role, Chris brings together Rotarians seeking a service
opportunity with Stop Hunger Now’s meal packaging program. Chris also leverages Rotary International’s
huge network of individuals and his status as a well-respected, highly ethical and knowledgeable, senior
level Rotarian to expand sustainable humanitarian aid projects that utilize capital available from The
Rotary Foundation as their financing vehicle. Under Chris’ leadership, the total number of meals packed
by Rotarians is already on a steep increase path. Finally, a significant focus of Chris’ at Stop Hunger Now
is to lend his deep understanding of Rotary International’s practices and procedures to other Stop Hunger
Now personnel dealing directly with Rotary Clubs.
