Since July 14, 1911, the Rotary Club of Hartford has served the local community. It has the unique distinction of sponsoring 16 clubs in neighboring communities. Our club meets on the first and third Monday of the month at the Hartford Club at 12:15pm, featuring engaging speakers and topics with opportunities to get involved locally and globally.

Club projects over the years have included: financial support to numerous local nonprofits including a significant contribution to the Wilson-Gray YMCA Youth and Family Center in the north end of Hartford; an endowed student scholarship program at Capital Community College; volunteers to assist with The Hartford Marathon and Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign; the Polio Plus Campaign in which we have raised over $10,000; and, participation in the Rotary Group Study Exchange and Ambassadorial programs.  Our total giving to Rotary International Foundation programs is more than $500,000!

Rotary International has 1.2 million members in more than 34,000 clubs worldwide - our motto is “Service Above Self”. Rotarian's volunteer in communities at home and abroad to support education and job training; clean water projects; combat hunger; improve health and sanitation, and eradicate polio.
