Mark your calendars for November 5th and sign up to work against hunger!
As many of you know, RCCAAN is one of the AA clubs sponsoring a local food packing event. We are partnering with Kid’s Coalition Against Hunger. I am representing RCAAN on the planning committee.
The hope is to raise the $10,500 needed to pack 30,000 meals. This amounts to .35 per meal. We also need 150 volunteers to work for 2-3 hours to pack these meals. Meals will be donated both locally and internationally.
How you can help:
- Sign up to work on the day of the event
- Donate directly to the event
- Assist the committee (me) identifying people (organizations, friends, colleagues, and family members – children can work if accompanied by an adult) who may be able to support this effort
