Jay Jermo was our speaker on May 28th at the Rotary Club of Ann Arbor North meeting where he talked about Bees. Jay was a guy in a suit selling print and marketing services in Chicago after becoming disillusioned. Finally, he lost his marketing job, and had to move back to Michigan to live in his Grandmother’s basement. It was a miserable time but just when he thought life was ending was when it was actually just beginning. On a visit to visit a relative and beekeeper, he was convinced to take up beekeeping and honey sales. He created Hey Honey, a specialty honey producer and distributor offering 70 different honey types and flavors to end consumers.
At our meeting Jay asked us questions about Bees. He explained that pesticides are creating a decline in Honey Bees.
