The August Festival (car show)
Bob serves as the Show Field Chair for Das Awkscht Fescht, a car show and community celebration in its 60th year. He also serves on the Finance and Legal Committee of HANWASH, a Rotary-related program that brings potable water to Haiti. He is a director for the Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles. Bob works for the Development Committee of the Reading Musical Foundation. You likely know him as the District Governor for Rotary District 7430 during the 2021-2022 Rotary year.
Bob is an attorney practicing in southeastern Pennsylvania. He enjoyed a “big law” career in structured finance and government consulting for many years, and now emphasizes business and estate planning. Bob regularly publishes legal articles with the Business Law Sections of the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association and with many other business organizations. He has served as President or as a director on the boards of five non-profit organizations.
Bob has been an active member of the Kutztown Rotary Club since 1986 and was President during the 1993-1994 Rotary year. He serves or served District 7430 as District Governor, Parliamentarian, Assistant Governor, Annual Fund Chair, and Committee member on the International Service, DEI and Environmental Sustainability Committees. He is Department of State certified in the Student Exchange Program. He teaches for the Rotary Leadership Institute. He is also a member of the Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Rotary Action Group and the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians. Bob thanks his wife, Florita, for serving with him in Rotary.
