Representatives of the St. John Ambulance Dog Therapy Program addressed the Rotary Club of Brockville on November 18, 2024.  Shirley and Cam Kennedy from the Program, along with Abby, a favourite Therapy Dog, spoke about their many experiences and personal connections made through their visits to many varied locations across our community.  At present, they have 30 active therapy teams supporting people residing in retirement homes, long term care homes, hospitals, and palliative care.  They are also present to support students, police, firefighters, and paramedics.  In the photo above, Rotarian Mark Mazurek (left) expresses the thanks of the Club to Shirley, Cam, and Abby.  They were presented with a book that will be donated to the St. John Bosco School Library to commemorate their presentation.
