Rotary Theme: Basic Education and Literacy Month

Our guest speaker tonight will be Janet Kolepp, District Governor for #7430.   

Janet Kolepp, a Rotarian since 2008, is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Bethlehem Morning Star. She served as club president in 2018-19, having previously been president of the Rotary Club of Lehigh Valley East in 2011-12. Janet has served District 7430 as Assistant Governor in 2014-2017, Rotary Leadership Institute Chair in 2016-2018, and Youth Exchange Committee member since 2009.

Janet shares her birthplace of Racine, Wisconsin with Rotary Founder, Paul Harris. A career in sales & marketing insurance took her from Wisconsin to Texas to Arizona, where she meet her husband, Tom in 1986. Their journey together includes two children, Carl & Katie; five Rotary Youth Exchange students, and career opportunities in Arizona, New Jersey, Georgia, Iowa, finally settling in Bethlehem, PA in 1998. She has been involved in a number of business start-ups including a business consulting practice, retail artisan gift store and the Habitat for Humanity Lehigh Valley ReStore. She is a graduate of Education for Ministry/ Theological Education by Extension program from The University of the South (Sewanee.)

A dedicated supporter of The Rotary Foundation, Janet is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, a Paul Harris Society member, and along with Rotarian husband Tom, is a member of the Bequest Society.
