Rotary theme Economic and Community Development Month

Our members Renji Kurup, owner of Mathnasium in Collegeville, and Dr. Heather Lobban-Virvong, Vice President for College and Community Engagement at Ursinis College, will be giving their Classification Speeches this evening.

In Renji's words,

"I am the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Collegeville, and I come from a family of teachers. My mom is a professor of Chemistry and my grandfather was a Math teacher. Before Mathnasium, I worked as a Project Manager in various industries including retail, financial services, architecture, and commercial development. I firmly believe that I'll be able to make a positive impact on the community of Collegeville and beyond by helping children reach their potential. I am passionate about helping children learn how to enjoy and excel at math, build their skills and confidence, and open up opportunities for their future careers. In addition to my responsibilities at Mathnasium, I feel like the Rotary Club will also provide ample opportunities to help children and young adults in the Collegeville community and beyond."
