More on the Race!

A few more tidbits about the race …

10K Run

228 runners posted finishing times. Congratulations to overall winner Craig Neiman at 36:31.3, and to Dan Sobinski who finished hot on his heels at 36:31.9. Carolyn Dunham was the fastest female with a time of 40:06.5.

5K Run & Walk

390 participated, with Michael Lehtonen smoking the field at 16:14.3. Kami Reinhard was the first female across the finish line, in 18:54.1.

Kilts and more

Celtic spirit infused the event, with kilt-wearers receiving food and beverage tickets donated by Celtic Classic. (Though the dog in a kilt wasn’t old enough to drink a beer.) And the “Muskets of the Crown” group took this spirit to a whole new level!

All our participants and helpers had a great time, with the biggest winner being Special Olympics PA - Bethlehem!

Their programs change lives – not only those of the Special Olympians themselves, but also of the athletes’ families. Thanks so much for your help!
