Thursday we inducted our newest Rotarian, Dino Cantelmi. Dino is the Funeral Director at Cantelmi Funeral Homes and was sponsored by Tom Hartzell. We welcome Dino and look forward to his enthusiasm in embracing Rotary and Morning Star.
We then had the opportunity to learn more about Josh Mrozinski in his classification talk. Josh grew up in New Jersey and loved to read as a teenager. He always had an interest in current events and loved travel and learning. This continues to drive his professional career.
At age 13 he traveled to Russia. Later in college he had the opportunity to also travel to Israel and Turkey. Although he loves traveling, Josh expressed that it is great to be global but, it all begins at home.
Josh currently is a writer in the field of commercial real estate and is also starting his career as a Realtor. Josh has been active in Morning Star Rotary events since joining (First Thursdays, Strategic Plan, among others) and will be on the Board next year.
The Outreach project was a great success on Saturday. Over 100 volunteers representing the 5 Area 2 Rotary clubs joined together to package 20,000 meals for local food pantries. It was wonderful to see multi generations working together and was even more wonderful to see those boxes of food leaving for the pantries. Thank you to everyone that volunteered.
Reminders - Wednesday evening we have our rescheduled Board meeting at 6 pm at Moravian Village.
Thursday evening, March 16, MSR will be once again preparing the dinner for the folks at the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter. This will be the last dinner for this Winter Season. Questions can be referred to John Oesmann 973-479-3146, john.oesmann@basf.com.
