DIVERSITY IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY

Who are we in the Lehigh Valley as to race and economics? How is that changing, and how does this inform civic-minded clubs and individuals?

Sharon Brown has spent a career advocating for minority student populations, at Lehigh, Moravian, and most recently at ESU, and is highly qualified to speak to their unique challenges.
The topic is particularly of interest to Rotary Clubs, who struggle to attract a membership that reflects the make-up of their communities.

Please join us Thursday 7:30 AM for fellowship and discussion.

Rotary Connects the World! ~2019/2020 Theme

Through the course of the Kolepp family experience in Rotary we have truly come to believe that Rotary Connects the World.  From the very beginning 20 years ago, when we welcomed Saya Murakami from Japan into our home as our daughter.  To sending Carl off to South Africa knowing he would be safe and loved.  To walking through the doors to the House of Friendship at the 2018 International Convention in Toronto, we have felt connected to something greater than ourselves.

It is with great joy in my heart that I share the 2019-2020 Rotary theme "Rotary Connects the World!"  For some these words will not be new, for others they will hear it for the first time.  However, incoming RI President Mark Maloney hopes you will hear it with your heart.  To know more (click here!)

HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU......
Happy Trails to You…..

Last Thursday we were saddened to lose one of our favorite Rotarians.
Stephen Kazar has made a few changes in his life….. turned 65 and all the joys and challenges that brings, retired from his career at Lehigh University…no more globe trotting! And is now on his way to join his lovely bride in their new home near Portland Oregon.  Yes, all there family is out in that part of the country, especially the growing gang of grand children.

So Steve, we wish you the best….still open for make-ups!
Keep in touch! Go PACK!
