Fellow MSR Rotarians:
In years past, in the world of pre-Covid, the Bethlehem Rotary Club held an annual Thanksgiving luncheon, complete with turkey dinner and all the fixings, carving stations and a great afternoon of fellowship. Bethlehem Rotary is bringing this long tradition back and their President Lori Knerr would like to include other local Rotary clubs that they have been working so closely with and continue to build those bonds. The luncheon will be held on Wednesday November 15th at Moravian Village starting at 12 PM. Cost will be $25 and they need a head count of attendees by November 6th. Numerous MSR Rotarians expressed an interest to attend at last week’s meeting. Please contact me if you are interested.
Remember, this week is our First Thursday gathering at the Artisan Wine & Cheese Cellar at 5:30 PM. Bring a friend and potential Rotarian to enjoy some social time with your fellow MSR Rotarians.
We will be participating this holiday season in Gift for Children of Lehigh Valley. Please bring unwrapped gifts for ages 2-15 before December 16th to an upcoming club meeting. New MSR member, Enid Jackson needs help to group wrap these presents. More information will be provided as we get closer to December.
On November 16th, DG Diane Donaher will be joining us to induct our new MSR members. Mentors and sponsors should try to attend this important meeting.
Mark your calendars for December 21st to attend our annual Holiday Meeting at Advent Moravian Church on Jacksonville Road. We will again be entertained by the A Cappella Choir from Liberty High School.
Our annual Holiday Party will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024. We are in need of a member to volunteer their house to hold this festive event.
