ROTARY MEANS BUSINESS FIRST THURSDAY
Our First Thursday will be at  the Artisan Wine & Cheese November 7 5:30 - 7:00 pm. This fellowship opportunity continues to attract more Rotarians including colleagues from the Saucon/Center Valley club. Plan now to join us on November 7 for a relaxing and informative time of Rotary fellowship.
 
The Wine & Cheese coupled with the assortment of hors d oeuvres is very appealing and tastes great!

NOV 17 SALUTE THE TROOPS CONCERT
Rotarians, Friends, Neighbors. & Colleagues,
 
Rotary’s business is mankind and its product is service. This is perhaps the best reason for becoming a Rotarian – the chance to do something for somebody else while experiencing self-fulfillment in the process.
 
Victory House is a not-for-profit organization committed to addressing the challenges faced by men and veterans in their transition from homelessness. They are provided shelter services and supportive resources to move toward independence in the community. Their work is an expression of their personal faith, hope, and compassion.
 
Combine the two purposes and voilà … you have the 11th Anniversary  “Salute the Troops” concert with the Allentown Band joined by Northeast Middle School musicians happening on November 17th at 3:00 pm.

Karen Daly Smith is the CEO of the Volunteer Center of the LV.  She will update us on the various programs and services they provide to non-profit organizations and their volunteers.
 
Meg Dowd is the Corporate Affairs Specialist at Just Born Inc.  She will provide insight on her role at Just Born and her volunteer activities in the community.  
 
Note: This meeting is not in lieu of Morning Star's normal meeting on November 21, 2019.
