Not to Miss!! In 2019 our club will celebrate it's 30th Anniversary - 30 years of making a difference in our community. Nearly $500,000 has been donated to our local & global projects during that time. But what does the future hold? Where is the most need? Where do you want your efforts as a Morning Star Rotarian to have impact? As part of the 2018-2019 strategic planning process the club leadership highlighted the need to better understand both the community needs and the club member's interest. At this week's meeting our Foundation & Grants Committee has a special program scheduled. The Lehigh Valley Community Foundation, under the direction of CEO Bernie Story, commissioned a Reflections Paper focused on LVCF’ 50th Anniversary Spark Grants and the Continuing Needs in the Lehigh Valley. Christopher Borick, Ph.D., LVCF Lotter Fellow and Director | Muhlenberg College Institute of Public Opinion, completed the study. Following a brief introduction by Bernie Story, Dr. Borick will present the results of the most pressing needs that might be addressed by government, civic groups, and non-profits.
