If the Bethlehem Area School District (BASD) CLOSES schools, then the Morning Star Rotary meeting will be held ZOOM only, not In-person.

If BASD just DELAYS school opening, our meeting will be HELD AS USUAL (Zoom & In-person), unless notification e-mailed for a Zoom format for all.

Please join the Rotary Club of Bethlehem Morning Star this Thursday, February 8, 2024, for our Live/Hybrid Meeting. Our meet & greet starts at 7:15am with the regular meeting starting at 7:30am.

Our "People of Action" team will be reporting live from Kenya.

PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Morning Star Rotarians,

Hopefully you have been keeping up with the activities of our "People of Action" Team in Kenya. If not, check out our Facebook page. You will be greatly moved by the work they are doing and the impact they are having on these communities.

If you still have not gotten the full picture, join us this Thursday in person or via Zoom to participate in our live joint meeting with our team live from the Kivutini School in Machakos. They will take us on a tour of some of the work they have been doing. We are so proud of the difference this group of Rotarians are making in lives when teaming up with other fellow Rotarians in another part of the world.

We hope to have a good turnout for this meeting, even if you can only participate by Zoom.

Club members enjoyed some fellowship at our First Thursday “Happy Hour” Social on February 1st at the Artisan Wine & Cheese Cellars!

BETHLEHEM EMERGENCY SHELTERING

Morning Star Rotary is working at the Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering on three evenings during the 2024 winter months. We serve food, wash dishes, and monitor the showers for the guests at the shelter. The Bethlehem Emergency Sheltering is located at Christ Church UCC at 75 E Market Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania 18018.
