**** Liz from Girls on the Run asked if any of our members would have an interest in volunteering for their Girls on the Run 5K on May 17, 2026. They need 3-10 volunteers to help direct cars to the parking areas. Parking volunteers would need to arrive at 7:15 AM at DeSales University. Volunteers receive a t-shirt and parking vest.
Unlock Power & Potential at the Girls on the Run 5K
Help us celebrate the end of the spring season for our amazing Girls on the Run participants! The GOTR 5K is a non-competitive celebration of the accomplishment of setting a goal and completing it. We are in need of volunteers for all areas of the event which include:
- Parking: Directing traffic to various parking areas on campus
- Course Marshalls: Directing and cheering runners along the course
- Water stop: Filling cups and distributing to participants as they pass by
- Finish line: Handing out water and snacks as participants finish
- Merchandise sales: Assisting with selling GOTR merchandise
- Registration: Handing out t-shirts and race bibs to race-day registrants
