DICTIONARY Project Update

Starting this week and continuing into November, we will handing out dictionaries jointly with Bethlehem Rotarians to 3rd graders, and explaining a little bit about Rotary to them!

Once our additional books arrive, chair Ellen Roberts will be looking for more helpers to stamp/pack and hand them out at the additional schools. Everyone who has participated in the past describes the experience as wonderful. When Ellen sends around the info, we hope you'll find a spot to volunteer!

And on Nov. 7, our speaker will be Jack Silva, Asst. Superintendent for Curriculum in the Bethlehem Area School District.  The program is titled: "A Curriculum Guru Talks About Bethlehem's Third Graders, Dictionaries And Reading."
