Sep. 9 Message – 5K/10K… and Rotaplast!
Heartfelt thanks and congratulations to Jeff Kicska and wife Mary for designing a new 5K/10K course that keeps us very near Celtic classic without interfering, and provides much scenic, off-street mileage for the runners/walkers! It is now up to all of us to help make this revamped 5K/10K a resounding success. The new location and route require more volunteers for setup, course marshals and tear-down. Would you please sign up at this week’s meeting, or email Jeff@kicska.com? Family, friends, students, groups (scouts, teams, etc.) and past grant recipients are all very welcome!
Our 5K/10K epitomizes the Morning Star tradition of having lots of fun as we help people. Unless you are out of town, are incapacitated or have an urgent conflicting event, I hope we can count on your support. Thanks!

Last year’s moving presentation on Rotaplast motivated generous member contributions. This week we will hear from Dr. Jean McGill and learn even more about the program, this time from a mission participant who is also a health care professional!
