Sep. 16 Message – My apologies; Rotaplast!
I apologize to all of you, and especially to last week’s speaker, Jean McGill. Due to announcements etc. running long, the time for her moving presentation on Rotaplast was cut short. We are trying to get a copy of her file to post online for those who’d like to see the videos for which we didn’t have time.
The before and after photos are amazing, only to be outdone by the 1 year later pictures. And to see prior recipients of this life-changing (and sometimes life-saving) surgery grow up to come back and help with the missions is incredibly heartwarming.
District 7430’s On-Air Auction to fund the next Rotaplast mission will be held Dec. 7. Donations are already being sought. We’ll provide you with more info for the types of items needed as the auction approaches. Your help will be tremendously appreciated!!!

This week it comes from 1994: The meeting between Christmas and New Year’s had no place to meet – the Holiday Inn didn’t expect us that week!
