On December 17th we enjoyed our Annual Musical Holiday Celebration! Our thanks to Maestro Rick Santee, (new accordion this year – a RED one!) for creating a marvelous program.
The Liberty High School Acapella Choir, under the direction of Gayle Justis, was absolutely wonderful.
They presented an excellent variety of holiday music from traditional to very contemporary (a Straight No Chaser takeoff, the Christmas Can-Can!) and a totally new number selected by Gayle which was quite moving. Proof positive the arts are alive and well at Liberty High School!
We finished off the program with our traditional 12 Days of Rotary with significant updates reflecting our ever evolving Morning Star Rotary Club. Indeed, a very fitting conclusion to our 2015 Rotary year. We had many special guests, including former members, spouses and kids, and THREE Past District Governors - Tore Hartmann-Hansen, Gerry Long and BJ Metz!

We also conducted our 2016-2017 CLUB ELECTIONS at this meeting.

Reminder – HOLIDAY PARTY January 9th at the home of our gracious hosts, Mike and Terry Long.
The club will provide ham, plus beer, wine and soft drinks. If you’d like to attend but were not able to sign up at the meetings, please email jsearfoss@cementemployers.com with the number of people and the type of food you plan to bring. (Appetizer, salad, side dish, main dish, etc. Not too many desserts, please.)
