There is a lot going on the next few weeks … hope I remember it all … can’t forget that November is Rotary Foundation month! But before I get to all that….

Joint Thanksgiving Lunch this Wed. 11/14

If you did not raise your hand that you plan to go to the joint Thanksgiving lunch but would still like to go, George Mower assures me that you are more than welcome to attend. The cost is $20 at the door, with $5 of that going to Polio Eradication. (See story below for details.)

This Week’s Morning Star Meeting

Our speaker this week is our own Janet Kolepp who will tell us all about Habitat for Humanity’s new ReStore and her wonderful life with Tom.

The Concert is this Sunday, Nov. 18! Please help spread the word. Gary needs about 6 volunteers to help usher and sell tickets at the door. Don’t forget to get your ticket money into Gary.

Last Week's Rotaplast Presentation

Last week’s meeting was FABULOUS! FANTASTIC!!! A great big thank you to presenter Alicia Ruiz Orbin, and especially to Gretchen for challenging the club, plus to everyone for coming together! We raised a lot of money for the Rotaplast mission (details next time), and a possible club donation will be discussed at this week’s board meeting.

Rotaplast / Hurricane Sandy Relief Auction

Dec. 1st, with Preview Night Nov. 29th

One thing I forgot to mention over and over was that the proceeds from the telethon on December 1st will be split 50/50 between Rotaplast and the Hurricane Sandy Relief efforts.

After Nov. 14, our next meeting will be Nov. 29th when our speaker will be Megan Beste (Gary Hartney’s daughter-in-law) who will talk to us all about “Transplanting to the Lehigh Valley.”
