There is no appropriate translation for THAT Word so I will just leave it in English.

At the last meeting I said that NEXT week was Peaceable Kingdom and after THAT was the bag stuffing but I SKIPPED a very important week in there, and that was Wayne Achey’s classification talk. The race stuffing is the week AFTER that which is a GIANT relief because there is still a ton of work left to do for the race and we could use the time!

So just to recap our fabulous upcoming talks:

9/13 – Peaceable Kingdom

9/20 - Wayne Achey Classification talk

9/27  - Race bag stuffing

The lastest edition of “The Kilt” should be up on the web by the time you get this. There are ton of District events coming up. I will bring a few hard copies to the next meeting if you would like one. There are golf tournaments, the Rotoplast auction, other club’s events. If you need a Rotary fix, there is no shortage of opportunities.

I would like to thank Sue for a fascinating talk last week. I have a whole new appreciation of what a home-economics class can evolve into.

I am looking forward to our visitors from Peaceable Kingdom this week. One of our family members is from them, our cat, Macy. She is meaner than a wet hen but we don’t think its PK’s fault. We would gladly get another pet from them. They went down and rescued many animals after Katrina and Macy was one of them.

I would like to thank everyone for their comments about the Breakfast issues. It is great to have input from the club and the board appreciates the time the people take to come up with a solution
