Pres. Sue's 7/31 Message
Its only week 4 of the year and I am wondering if I can come up with 52 unique ways of saying "Hello". I think that next week I may have to try some new languages. This is Rotary after all, and we are nothing if not international.
I spend the week doing new exercises with my fingers and having my co-workers give me funny looks. (It’s not the first time for that though so it did not bother me.)
Our speaker this week is Bernie Story from the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation. I am really looking forward to finding out what that is. Almost everything I know about the Lehigh Valley, I have learned from Rotary (you thought I was going to say Kindergarten didn't you?).
Things you should not forget:
· Food Drive for New Bethany Ministries (see separate story)
· Tony Janetta, District Governor will be visiting next week
· Board Meeting is also next week
· Dues are now officially really, seriously, due
· RLI (Rotary Leadership Inst.) is less than 2 months away - have you registered? I still have 4 seats left in my van!
A very special THANKS to Jim Vitale (and Lisa!) for hosting the first ever BMSR Pool Party! It was fantastic! Great food, great friends, lots of desserts! More details about that to come.
