Greetings Rotarians,

Please join me in congratulating Laura Fodale who placed a very respectable 3rd in the Regional 4 Way Test Speech Contest last Saturday at DeSales University. Perhaps we can convince her to try again next year.

We have a very busy meeting this week so feel free to get your breakfast early. Before our regularly scheduled speakers, Ann Gibson of Northeast Ministry and Bernie Story of LV Community Foundation and Boys & Girls Club on our golf beneficiary (Steve Godbolt Memorial Scholarship), we are first going to hear from Kim Resh. Kim is the Executive Director of Mikayla's Voice. Mikayla's Voice is a triathalon for special needs children. It is being organized here in the Lehigh Valley this spring and they are looking for volunteers. What a great coincidence because we just happen to be looking for some sweat equity projects! Do you know who else is involved with this project? Our very good friend Diane Donaher!

Also at the meeting you are going to hear about the club’s first ever FELLOWSHIP CHALLENGE!!!! You don’t want to miss THAT!

And finally, I will tell you about Hilary Koprowski. I was going to tell you all about him here, in my newsletter but after I spent about an hour reading about him at work (don’t worry, my boss is gone for the day), I decided it wasn’t something I should really write down, which is why this newsletter is so short. So I will just tell you about him at the meeting!

Please do not forget to respond to Jean's breakfast survey.

See you Thursday. It’s going to be ACTION PACKED!

Susan
