Oct. 24 is World Polio Day!  ... an occasion to recommit ourselves towards eradication of polio.

Dear Rotarians:

World Polio Day Is October 24th. There is a Streamed live event at 5:30 pm CDT at www.endpolionow,org.

At this event we will hear from world renowned speakers such as Dr. Bruce Aylward (Director, Global Polio Eradication Initiative) and the Northwestern University Center for Global Health will deliver a global status update on the fight to end Polio.

Remember the Gates Partnership of two-to-one, up to US $35 million per year. For example every $100 dollars Rotary commits to End polio, the Gates Foundation will provide $200, making it $300 to be used for the End Polio Now Initiative.
