New Foundation Grants

NEW ROTARY FOUNDATION GRANTS

Rotary International has made some significant changes to its Foundation Grants effective for 2013-14. Our Foundation Committee is on top of it – our Global Grant application with lead partner Morrisville-Yardley Rotary Club for the Water Filter project in Peru was approved! We have also been approved for a 2013-14 District Grant to help fund a local project – improving the towpath, which is part of our 5K /10K route.

The New Foundation Grants can be quite confusing, however, and Marianne Aronson pointed out a great explanatory article from the November 2012 issue of The Rotarian magazine. In case you’re interested and don’t have a copy handy, here’s a link to the article:
