Fellow MSR Rotarians:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each of you individually and collectively for your contribution to a fantastic 2022-2023 year for the Morning Star Rotary Club for 2022-2023. Because of your team efforts, we were able to accomplish so much serving our community and the world through our service projects locally in addition to our district and global grant projects. We had a stellar year fundraising for our local projects and charitable beneficiaries along with our members record contributions to the Rotary Foundation to support our club’s and RI’s efforts throughout the world. Our successes this past year were truly the result of our members working together to meet our goals.
It was a privilege and honor to serve as your president this past year. Thank you to my fellow officers and the members of the Board of Directors for their support and work on behalf of the club. Along with all the members who stepped up to chair and serve at our various fundraisers and on committees, they ensured that Morning Star Rotary had an incredible year.
Best wishes to President Betty, her leadership team, and all MSR members for another amazing year for Morning Star Rotary.
Also, thank you for a very enjoyable “Kick-Out” party this past Friday. Special thanks to Rodney and Sarabel Conn for hosting and for all your kind comments.
I am proud to be a Morning Star Rotarian!
Yours in Rotary,
Rod
