Jan 6 - Race Recognition this Thursday!!!
Thanks to Tom Kolepp for his interesting program on PechaKucha last Thursday. In the audience, only Russ Pacala knew that this is a special PowerPoint presentation format of exactly 20 slides for 20 seconds each. After describing its origin and usage, Tom gave the PechaKucha he developed about Rotary, focusing on PolioPlus, RotaPlast and ShelterBox. When he first gave it (to a non-Rotarian group), one of the listeners gave him a donation check for ShelterBox!
And thanks to all of you for all your help during the first half of my term – hard to believe it’s half over already! And I hope that all of you are keeping healthy – tough to do these past few weeks!
