What a wonderful time we had last Thursday! Gayle led 24 talented singers in a delightful assortment of songs, and Drew Donaher (Diane & Dean’s son) stole the show with his solo! Then all 83 of us sang along with Rick Santee on his accordion, culminating in Morning Star’s traditional “Twelve Days of Rotary”. The warmth and camaraderie were a true joy to behold!
No official meeting this week, but we invite you to breakfast at The Palace Restaurant (3250 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18020) on Thursday Dec. 26 starting about 7:15-7:30, our usual time. No announcements, no program, no asking you for money (except to pay for your own food, from the regular menu). Just fellowship!
We’ll wrap up the holiday celebrations on Saturday with our club party, graciously hosted once again by Mike & Terri Long (see story below).
Whatever holidays you may celebrate, I wish you love and joy, sweet memories from the past, and special times this year to remember in the future!
