Dec. 2 Message – Welcome to December!
I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends! It is already December now, a very busy time for Morning Star. We start with the Membership Committee’s new “Welcome Meeting” this Wednesday, continuing with bell-ringing for Salvation Army on 12/7 & 12/14, and our wonderful musical holiday program on 12/19, then finishing up with our terrific party hosted by Mike and Terri Long on 12/28 – Tis the Season!!!
DEC. 5 PROGRAM
We’ll hear more details about the May 2-4 District Conference at Bushkill Falls from Co-Chair LaVerne Scheetz of Harleysville Rotary.
Plus, we’ll recognize members who have achieved Paul Harris Fellow status for cumulative donations of $1,000 (or multiples of $1,000) to Rotary Foundation and/or PolioPlus.

If you signed up but are now unable, we'll appreciate your arranging for someone else to fill in, and notifying Russ Pacala, Robin Metzler and Jean Searfoss.

DISTRICT CONFERENCE DISCOUNT EXPIRES DEC. 31
Please remember that Dec. 31 is the district’s cutoff registration date for the $50 discounted price to the District Conference on May 2-4, 2014 at Bushkill Falls. Please click District Conference on the left side of www.rotarydistrict7430.org . (This discount is in addition to Morning Star’s $100 per member rebate, to which the cutoff date does NOT apply.)
