Be a Gift to the World

When I attended the Mid-Atlantic President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) back at the end of February, all the Presidents Elect (PE) had a unique experience. RI President-Elect 2015-16 “Ravi” Ravindran was there to give the keynote address first thing Friday morning! (Personally, as I entered the elevator to go down for breakfast there he was! What a kick to meet him 1:1. I knew immediately we are going to have a great year!)
RI President chose Be a Gift to the World as the presidential theme for 2015-16. Using their talents, expertise, and leadership, Rotary members worldwide are asked to be gifts to the world this upcoming Rotary year.
“All of you have been given so many gifts. And you have now been given this great gift: one year to take all your talents, all your gifts, everything that you are and can become – and Be a Gift to the World,” said Ravindan. “You have one year to take that potential and turn it into reality. One year to lead the clubs in your district and transform the lives of others. The time is so short, yet there is so much to be done.”
- RI President “Ravi” Ravindran
With the great team of Rotarians we have in Morning Star there can be no doubt we will succeed. Besides, 2016 is a Leap Year - one whole extra day!
I thank you all for your help and support. Remember our 5th part of the Four Way Test, Is It Fun?
